Steps to reproduce this bug:
1. open gnome-terminal
2. open a new tab
3. make sure the new tab is active (focused)
4. resize the window
5. switch to any other window
6. switch back to gnome-terminal

What is expected to happen:
Gnome-terminal (the window) should have the size I resized it to in step 4.

What actually happens:
Gnome-terminal (the window) has "reverted" it's size to before step 4.

Workaround:
Activate the first (leftmost) tab and resize the window. The window will stay the size I resized it to.

Something worth noting:
If I resize the with the first tab activated and repeat step 2 to 6 the window will reset to the window size associated with "tab 1"
