Description Ján Kyselica 2013-02-25 20:41:17 UTC
Why all warning/error strings start with a lowercase letter? For example:

#: ../libgnome-desktop/gnome-rr.c:472
#, c-format
msgid "unhandled X error while getting the range of screen sizes"
msgstr ""

#: ../libgnome-desktop/gnome-rr.c:478
#, c-format
msgid "could not get the range of screen sizes"
msgstr ""

Are they part of other sentences? If they are standalone sentences, they should start with an uppercase letter and end with a punctuation.
Comment 1 Bastien Nocera 2014-10-21 09:29:43 UTC
They probably shouldn't be translated actually.
Comment 2 Piotr Drąg 2017-10-30 01:01:08 UTC
These two strings no longer exist. Not a lot of these are left.
Comment 3 Bastien Nocera 2017-11-15 18:34:50 UTC
Banking on removing all those strings when gnome-rr is removed from gnome-desktop. See bug 777538.
