Description Hashem Nasarat 2013-02-22 18:59:20 UTC
To enable faster workflows and much less tiresome mouse movement, the left and right edges of the screen should act as a pressure-activated area for the dash and workspace selector, respectively. The back-end of this should be in place with the recent work on the notification area.

I don't understand the request.
Comment 2 Florian Müllner 2013-02-22 19:19:49 UTC
As I understand it, the request is to use pointer barriers for sliding in dash/workspace switcher in normal mode.

What Florian said.
Sorry for the unclear explanation.

Nice idea, but I don't see how this would work with multimonitor setups. I'm also not sure that we want to have parts of the overview leaking out - one of the design goals is to keep your work space focused by having these facilities "elsewhere".
