Description Kamil J. Dudek 2013-02-03 18:44:46 UTC
The party mode is pointless. "All it does" is removing the window title bar and hiding the Gnome Shell top panel.

Instead, Rhythmbox should maximize in the same manner as Nautilus and Epiphany. Also, porting Rhythmbox to GMenu and "gear menu" can eliminate the menu bar entirely without reducing any functionality(but this is not the right place to discuss it as it's being done and discussed already). In that case, Rhythmbox window would by default take the same amount place as the party mode.

Personally, I think that nobody actually uses the party mode, but it's only my opinion and I don't present it as an argument ;)

The party mode is even more broken now that Rhythmbox trunk has been ported to GMenu. There's no way to come out of it (except by pressing Super and closing Rhythmbox).
Comment 2 Jonathan Matthew 2013-03-05 02:54:27 UTC
that is no longer true.

Aha, sorry about that. I didn't check the latest git log before commenting!
