Holding Alt while pressing Print Screen makes a screenshot of window currently in focus instead of the whole desktop. The attached file was the result, it has severe graphical corruption even after exporting to JPEG format.

I thought this might be caused by the fact that I'm using the latest beta of the proprietary AMD drivers. In that case I assume the gnome-screenshot developers can do nothing about it. However if I take a screenshot of the whole desktop there is nothing wrong. This seems to indicate that something is wrong with gnome-screenshot itself rather than the display drivers?
