Description Jeff Zapotoczny 2013-01-22 14:09:12 UTC
I have tried in two cases to get guest resizing to work. My first attempt was while interacting with a system VM I had already installed (via "qemu:///system"). Toggling the resize guest control in the gnome-boxes UI seemed to have no effect. Resizing the box window or taking it fullscreen did nothing to change the VM's resolution.

I have also tried with a fresh VM created from within gnome-boxes, to the same effect.

In both cases the OS being installed was Windows 7 Professional "N" edition, 32-bit.

This needs spice-vdagent in the guest to work but we really shouldn't be giving this option to user if agent is missing. Also we are trying to install this agent automatically on express installation. You can get the agent from here for now: http://spice-space.org/download/binaries/spice-guest-tools/

I'll mark it as duplicate of bug#694211 as once that is fixed, this is also fixed with it.
