Description thibault.drevet 2013-01-09 10:03:43 UTC
Forwarded bug from Launchpad :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1097510

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- Right click on a *.jpg file
- Properties > Image
- See that the value after "Date taken" is not correctly formatted.

For example, on a French Ubuntu 12.10 it is shown as "2012:12:24 19:57:45".
But it should be something like "24/12/2012 at 19:57:45".
Comment 1 Ernestas Kulik 2017-04-08 13:23:11 UTC
That appears to be the EXIF format for DateTime tag values. We should coerce it into a more natural format.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2021-06-18 15:48:50 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of Files (nautilus), then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
