if you go to mouse tweak press the slider to configure the speed of the double click or the speed of the cursor you can clearly hear your (magnetic) hard disk to work in very stressing way, like every movement are written to disk every millisecond.

in my opinion the data should be written only when the slider is released improving energy saving, noise and extending hard disk life.
