GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 689891
some mail not marked as read anymore
Last modified: 2014-01-23 20:28:51 UTC
Hi, since the upgrade to 3.6.1 (from 3.4) it seems that /some/ mails (on an IMAP+ account) are not marked as read when I open them. I've set: org.gnome.evolution.mail mark-seen true org.gnome.evolution.mail mark-seen-timeout 0 and it does work for /some/ mails but not other (and I have no idea what triggers the problem). Usually double clicking on the mail to open it on a separate window makes it correctly marked as read. If you need anything else, please ask.
Any news on this?
I can confirm this problem/behaviour. Version 3.4 works fine but since 3.6 evolution has this strange behaviour.
For what it's worth, I've upgraded to 3.6.3 and it's not fixed there.
For what it's worth, I've upgraded to 3.8.2 and it's not fixed there.
For what it's worth, I've upgraded to 3.10.1 and it's not fixed there.

I'm seeing the same problem on Evolution 3.10.2.
