Package: gnome-core Severity: normal Version: 1.4.0.4 Synopsis: bash emu console wont respond to a background change Bugzilla-Product: gnome-core Bugzilla-Component: gnome-terminal Description: regardless of what comes in the product field the product I was using was the gnome-terminal When I right-click to change the background to transparent and click OK, nothing happens. if I try to do the same thing hiting apply instead nothing happens. but when I tried to change the background and shade it, the program crashes and asks me to write this report. by the way the background on my gnome desktop is a virtical gradent of blue to light blue. also the program running in the terminal at the time was ping, which was successfully pinging a computer on the inernet. it was an ftp server which had not responded to web based ftp earier.
