GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 687916
Add a button to open gnome-clocks
Last modified: 2012-11-11 04:43:27 UTC
We should make gnome-clocks available directly from the calendar, to give people easy access to their 'other times'. This can be done the same way as we handle opening evolution now - just make sure the button is hidden when gnome-clocks is not installed
Designers, where do you want the button? I'd put it on the left side, above the settings item, because, usually the option to open the system settings are at the bottom. But if we do that, we will have a weird vertical alignment of "Open Clocks" and "Open Calendar". What do you think? I've got a patch ready for this.
As far as I know, https://live.gnome.org/GnomeShell/Design/Whiteboards/DateNTime is still relevant (e.g. we should also pick up configured clocks in addition to the button). Dupe of bug 644390?
