Description Jonathan Allard 2012-11-05 19:16:55 UTC
I wish to bring the following question from AskUbuntu to your attention:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/189980/is-there-a-way-to-disable-a-specific-account-in-empathy

I see no setting/clear way of disabling chat while keeping the account in the centralized account base for other applications.

This is more of a question than a bug right now, so any answers would be appreciated.

Expected: Empathy shows a settings box that allows disabling chat for a given account.

That's not possible atm because of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/account-plugins/+bug/1044055
