Description benoit.hiller 2012-11-04 00:35:19 UTC
With some regularity the shell interrupts me with password entry dialog boxes for my various calendars. However it uses the shell internal dialog boxes, which take focus until they are resolved. I have 2-step verification turned on so if I want to sign in I have to be able to open up my browser and generate an application specific password.

Currently my only option is to press cancel on the 4 boxes that pop up in sequence.

As password requests for a calendar are not at all time critical or serious, would it be possible to make them use a dialog box that does not take over the interface?

You really shouldn't be getting random system modal dialogs, especially ones that request passwords. I suspect that this is a known issue with Evolution Data Server.
