GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 682921
Graphics Tablet Pressure
Last modified: 2012-08-31 09:01:25 UTC
Gimp no longer detects my graphics tablet's pressure input. It worked fine on the non-native version of Gimp than ran on XQuartz. It seems that my tablet is called 'Cursor' on the Input Devices dialog on the non-native Gimp, but that input has disappeared now. I would be very thankful if this was fixed quickly, because I use Gimp a lot, and most of the time with my graphics tablet. Thanks.
Which exact GIMP version is this about?
This is 2.8.2, the first official release of the native Mac version of gimp.
Created attachment 222994 [details] [review] Pressure support (report all axes of the cursor device) Odd, "Cursor" is supposed to be the tablet-mouse not a pen. I've attached a version of the pressure support patch that reports all values for the cursor device, I don't have anything to test it with but it was reading them anyways so it should be a harmless change.
Sorry, that was my fault. I forgot to add Daniel's previous tablet patch to the gimp module set. The next dmg, gimp-2.8.2-dmg-2 should include this latest patch.
