Description William Jon McCann 2012-08-27 13:07:54 UTC
When I connect to my NAS using smb://192.168.1.100 in the connect to server dialog I get prompted with a password dialog. I enter my details and click "remember password until logout". The server then shows me a list of directories I have access to. I select one. I'm then presented with another password dialog before it mounts the subdirectory.

Furthermore, it comes up with the wrong username in the entry box too. It would be better if it remembered the one I just entered instead of just using my local username.

This sounds like a bug in how gvfs saves the credentials; do you still get the dialog by going to smb://192.168.1.100 or only when selecting a share there? It might be that in the backend the host and share credentials are saved separately.
