Description William Jon McCann 2012-08-14 14:56:14 UTC
It might be good to change the text of the screenshot action to indicate it saves to Pictures.

"Take a screenshot" -> "Save shot to Pictures"

+1 after all the criticism in bug 669629, however the ambiguity of "shot" will likely create problems for translators.
Is "Save a screenshot to Pictures" (and a translator comment that "Pictures" is the folder name as translated in package xdg-user-dirs) too long?

And explain that it saves directly to the Pictures directory.

The translator comments probably will not be picked up as they are not in the line preceding the string they refer to. You can try yourself with "intltool-update fr" in /po and looking at fr.po afterwards.

I did a "make gnome-control-center-2.0.pot" in po/ before attaching the patch, and it worked. If intltool is broken, well, it'll need to get fixed.

Jon, happy with the text?
