Description Peter Robinson 2012-08-12 15:11:09 UTC
When configuring an EWS account there should be the option to select a client side certificate for SSL use. Some mail providers (corporations etc) require a client side certifiicate to be used to retrieve email through EWS sources.

Hmm, just wondering whether libsoup can cope with it.
Dan, could you clarify, please?
Comment 2 Peter Robinson 2012-08-31 08:52:15 UTC
It would be needed for web site client side certs with epiphany as well. If it doesn't currently is there a libsoup ticket for it?
Comment 3 Milan Crha 2013-08-30 05:50:58 UTC
Just for a record and better visibility, there is filled bug #334021 against libsoup.
Comment 4 Dan Winship 2014-05-03 17:35:12 UTC
The libsoup part is now done in master; you can set a GTlsInteraction on the SoupSession, and that will get used by any GTlsConnections it creates. You'll still need to create a GTlsInteraction implementation with the certificate-fetching behavior you need, and may need new UI too.
Comment 5 André Klapper 2021-05-19 11:01:19 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution-ews/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
