Currently cogl fails to build with automake 1.12.x due to the 
check in autogen.sh 

The attached patch fixes the issue. It applies to both the master
and cogl-1.10 branches.

I couldn't 'make distcheck' since the cogl wayland backend does not
build with the wayland-server headers in fedora rawhide.

Since this breaks the GNOME build, I'm going to go ahead and commit it shortly unless I hear objections from cogl developers.
