You forgot to attach the patch. Also caps names are not (always) equivalent to mimetypes

Not sure if it's really better to send random GStreamer media types which may or may not match mime types, or not send anything.

If anything this should map some known caps types to mimetypes. Just putting the GStreamer caps types there is not valid.
