GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 677248
Klotski window is not refreshing after moving blocks
Last modified: 2013-12-17 02:48:01 UTC
When moving blocks in klotski, blocks is duplicating (or window doesn't refresh). Maximize/Restore window make good picture in window. Ubuntu 12.04 in Ubuntu 10.10 works fine.
Created attachment 215390 [details] screenshot after moving 2 lower blocks
aftects 3.4.x and 3.5.x represented with 3.5.90
represented 3.6.0.2
I don't normally use Ubuntu but I tried to reproduce this using a virtualbox VM version and a live CD version of ubuntu 12.04. I installed gnotski 3.4.1 from the ubuntu package manager and it worked OK for me both times. I did get an effect similar to what you describe though when I ran it using JHbuild on my Fedora 17 system. This was for the git version just prior to the port to vala. If I run the latest version (the vala port) using JHbuild it works OK. Have you tried the latest version from git or does this relate to the ubuntu 3.4.1 package?
Ubuntu 12.10 klotski 3.6.0.2 buyg reprodused
the lastes version from git i did't tryed can you give me a git address to clone ? I will check.

I have installed Klotski from git all blocks moves ok. but the menu bar looks strange : i have 2 menu bars one with Klotski menu and other with game menu :) Im using XFCE desktop maybe thus matters.
tested on xubuntu 12.10 i386
Same bug in debian http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=691733 (URL doesn't want to add)
Can this be reproduced in Klotski 3.8 or 3.10?
Closing as obsolete; if this can be reproduced in 3.8 or 3.10, please respond and I'll reopen. The extra menu bar will be gone in 3.12, sorry about that.
