GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 676958
Show native language names in the language selector
Last modified: 2012-05-28 11:57:25 UTC
How to reproduce: 1. open Edit/Preferences/Interface 2. click on the language selector This should happen: All languages are shown with their own native name. Alternatively the native name could supplement or replace the ISO country code in the brackets. This happens: The languages are shown with their name of the current language setting. From a users point of view, who's not speaker of the selected language, it would be easier to switch to his native language, even if he/she's in panic by having disguised the language setting accidently.
