GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 67665
please test im-hangul immodule
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
I have ported emacs's Hangul leim module to gtk+-immodule and put it at http://ryujin.kuis.kyoto-u.ac.jp/~tee/im-hangul-0.1.tar.gz I want Korean people's review. If there's no critical usability problem, please include this to gtk+ distribution. To test. 0. Install gtk+-1.3.12 or recent versions. 1. Extract package. ./configure; make 2. Execute test.sh in the directory -> text entry will appear. 3. Do right button click on the text entry and choose Hangul. -> type anything into the entry.
I've added it to CVS now, since I think that's the only way we are going to get feedback. I didn't make it the default for the 'ko' locale, since I suspect that probably should be gtkimcontextxim; a Korean speaker will probably prefer AMI to this module.
