GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 676299
Guest freezes when installing Fedora 17 from LiveDVD
Last modified: 2016-03-31 13:53:38 UTC
Created attachment 214295 [details] A screenshot of boxes. I've attempted installation of Fedora 17 Beta using live image. During the installation, the guest gnome-shell crashed, artifacts appeared and the system became unresponsive. Likely connected to spice/qxl software rendering issues. See the screenshot. gnome-boxes-3.4.2-1.fc17.x86_64 qemu-kvm-1.0-17.fc17.x86_64
Installed from an iso image, not DVD.
Did it freeze at a specific time (for example when trying to reboot at the end of the installation?) Or just at a random time while the installation was going on?
Can you connect to the machine using another spice client (spicec, virt-viewer or vinagre) when this happens?
