I'd prefer not to have different layouts if there's status/no status.

The alternative would be to just use an icon for the status. However, I'd always hoped that the layout would allow us a flexible pattern that can be used in different contexts:

Maybe that's wrong and we should just centre align the name and use an icon for status, though...
