To reproduce:
1. Select a stone
2. Select another stone with a different pattern
Expected behaviour:
- First stone is deselected, new stone is selected
Observed behaviour:
- Nothing changes

This is a change from the 3.2 behaviour.

Fixed for 3.4.1 and master.
