GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 673996
Trash is not aware of files deleted on first level directory mounted partitions
Last modified: 2012-10-18 19:57:03 UTC
Mount a partition on a first level directory like /srv or /mnt. Trash files via gvfs and they will be moved to e.g. /srv/.Trash-something as they should. But neither gvfs file managers show them in their trash bin nor gvfs-ls trash: lists them. Mount the same partition one level higher, e.g. /srv/data, and the deleted files show up in the trash bin.
