GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 672913
segfault for "evolution --express"
Last modified: 2012-03-28 03:47:56 UTC
Created attachment 210696 [details] Errors before segmentation fault When I launch evolution in express mode, I get a segmentation fault (shell output attached). I'm using the latest versions of evolution and gtk+ (3.4). (BTW, I don't know what the "express mode" is, I was just curious).
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it. Can you get us a stack trace? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance!
The stack trace is attached, but some function names are missing. Is that enough, or do you need anything else?

Looks like a Clutter issue.
Please install debug packages for clutter, clutter-gtk, cairo, glib2, evolution so we have function names in the trace...
If you are building sources on your own, please disable clutter support. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 655243 ***
