This has arisen from bug #671860:

Gnumeric exports the number format "0.00E+00" to ODF as

<number:number-style style:name="ND.0"><number:text>+</number:text></number:number-style>

This is clearly incorrect/incomplete.

This problem arises in go_format_output_to_odf.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
