Description Aaron Brubacher 2012-02-07 22:26:30 UTC
When searching for anything in the activities overview, the left and right arrow keys do not do anything, and the up and down arrow keys move left and right instead.
I am constantly using <Super> key, typing my search and using the arrow keys to get the result I want, and it is harder to get to the second row of results. This is ridiculously annoying, not to mention counter-intuitive as a user. Even Unity does this right. I asked on irc://irc.gnome.org/gnome and it is happening for other people.

steps to reproduce:
1. Click Activities
2. type any letter (make sure there are lots of results)
3. try to use the arrow keys and enter key to get the result you want
4. get annoyed.
