GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 669387
Songs not removed from playlist correctly when view is sorted
Last modified: 2020-03-17 09:24:44 UTC
Originally reported at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/926955 When a playlist is sorted (e.g. by Album), and a user selects from the right-mouse popup menu to remove a song from a playlist, the wrong song is removed. I'm running Banshee 2.2.1, but the problem still exists on the unstable builds via the ppa. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: banshee 2.2.1-1ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-16.28-generic 3.0.17 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-16-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu4 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Feb 4 20:28:14 2012 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Release amd64 (20110427.1) SourcePackage: banshee UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to oneiric on 2011-10-12 (115 days ago)
I am also having this problem. I'm not sure what to look for, but will gladly give information to help fix this problem. Banshee 2.3.6 Ubuntu 12.04
Same problem here with banshee 2.4.0-1ubuntu1~hyper1+oneiric (Ubuntu 11.10)
Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/Infrastructure/Infrastructure/issues/264 for more info.
