In version 2.4.5 on Windows I could highlight date, text, account, etc., and do a copy and paste operation. In 2.4.9 this seems to be broken. This makes GnuCash almost unusable for me as I have to copy around various parts of transactions very often.

To replicate: 

1. Highlight a description and type Ctrl-C (copy).

2. Go to a new transaction description and type Ctrl-V (paste).

Nothing happens.

Reassign version to 2.4.x so that individual 2.4 versions can be retired.
