Clipping when desktop option for file manager handle desktop turned off

Basically... DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu DISTRIB_RELEASE=11.10 DISTRIB_CODENAME=oneiric DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 11.10" Linux 3.0.0-12-generic #20-Ubuntu SMP Fri Oct 7 14:56:25 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Compiz Gnome-shell gnome-tweak-tool version - 3.2.0-0ubuntu1 ================================================================================ When using gnome-tweak-tool Desktop > Have File Manager Handle Desktop - off Causes a mass clipping problem... for a image refer to this ubuntu forums post.. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1887811 ================================================================================ This is how i achived the problem... fresh install of ubuntu 11.10 64bit boot into unity install compiz & ccsm install gnome-shell install gnome-tweak-tool logout login - gnome (no effects) launch compiz (default settings) launch gnome-tweak-tool select option as mentioned above move a app and clipping begins.. turn back on file manager handles desktop and clipping problem goes away..

Oops, sorry about the duplicate thing. This is either a graphics driver or Ubuntu bug.
tried it with the drivers that comes with ubuntu pre/post and few versions from nvidia's site, same problem... so must be a ubuntu thing
Thanks for taking the time to report this. However, you are using a version that is too old and not supported anymore by GNOME developers. GNOME developers are no longer working on that version, so unfortunately there will not be any bug fixes by GNOME developers for the version that you use. By upgrading to a newer version of GNOME you could receive bug fixes and new functionality. You may need to upgrade your Linux distribution to obtain a newer version of GNOME. Please feel free to reopen this bug report if the problem still occurs with a recent version of GNOME, or feel free to report this bug in the bug tracking system of your Linux distribution if your distribution still supports the version that you are using.
