Example of desktop layout.

I'm currently running a multiple monitor setup where the primary monitor is on my laptop and I have a secondary monitor that is much taller to the right (see attached)

Because of the second monitor, it is very hard to hit the hot-corner for the message tray without the mouse slipping off the primary monitor onto the secondary.

Perhaps there should be a small barrier in the lower-right like is in the upper left?

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

This is actually a bug in the X server.
