Description Allison Karlitskaya (desrt) 2011-10-22 18:19:39 UTC
Would be great if the user accounts panel allowed for fetching the user icon from gravatar.

There are a few places where the user puts in things that are probably their email address: online accounts, empathy config, evolution, etc. We could easily automatically check these things against gravatar to set a user icon if one is not already selected. We could also allow the user to manually enter their email address for this purpose.

Philip already implemented some things for gravatar support in the past.

Yes, see bug #525027 and bug #570124. I don't have time at the moment to do anything with them, but if you, Ryan, can make use of the patches that would be great.
