Description Stefan 2011-10-09 00:29:31 UTC
According to the docs one should use main to reference the main page if the tree view is enabled.
This was the case till v1.7.4, but starting with v1.7.5.1 I had to change "/ref main" to "/ref index" even with "GENERATE_TREEVIEW = YES".

Must the docs be corrected or is this a bug?

quote from /mainpage topic:
<quote>
You can refer to the main page using \ref index (if the treeview is disabled, otherwise you should use \ref main).
</quote>

Personally I think it would be better to have only one way to reference the main page, so in any case one would need to use "/ref index", which seems to be the case now.

Thanks in advance,
Stefan

Indeed. I'll correct the documentation.

This bug was previously marked ASSIGNED, which means it should be fixed in
doxygen version 1.7.6. Please verify if this is indeed the case. Reopen the
bug if you think it is not fixed and please include any additional information
that you think can be relevant.
