Description Misha Shnurapet 2011-10-07 14:56:01 UTC
empathy-3.2.0-1.fc16.x86_64

Closing IRC chat windows/tabs results in leaving/parting the channels. Doing so to jabber multi-user chats shows different behavior keeping presence, and the rooms stay accessible via the chatrooms menu. IRC channels disappear from the menu, even if added to Favorites. You have to keep the window open at all times in order to be able to log the channels and/or receive messages.

Actually it's the same with jabber MUC, which I figured out later.
