GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 65948
panel crashes (panel Crash at 216.15.97.232)
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: panel Version: 1.4.0.4 Severity: >Synopsis: panel crashes >Class: sw-bug System: RH7.2 >Description: I upgraded my system to RH7.2 and was using it for a while. I then had a power failure and after the machine came back up I can no longer start X without a complaint that panel has crashed. I was originally running as a non-root user when the crash happened and I thought it was a messed up config file. I deleted all the .gnome* directories, etc. from my home directory, but that didn't help. I then tried starting X as root and I get the same behavior, so the problem must be with my installation. Can you suggest what I should do to fix the problem? >How-To-Repeat: ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-12-01 20:14 ------- The original reporter (waf@brunz.org) of this bug does not have an account here.
