forked-daapd is actively developed daap server in Debian and new Ubuntu Oneiric. There are problems connecting banshee to it. It is probably caused by lack of updates in forked-daapd, but seeing other apps able to connect (rhythmbox and android app) I file this bug as there probably is some workaround.
