GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 658616
Password entry box not selected by default when entering wireless password, and 'enter' does not hit OK
Last modified: 2011-09-15 17:23:40 UTC
When you connect to a new wireless network in 3.1.91 (possibly 3.1.90 too, didn't check), a shiny GNOME 3-ish dialog pops up for you to enter the passphrase. But the text box isn't selected by default, so if you just start typing the passphrase, it doesn't go in - you have to select the text box first. And after you're doing typing the passphrase, 'enter' doesn't trigger OK, you have to click it or tab down to it.

Gah, sorry - I thought there was an open bug already, but didn't find it :(
as long as you're submitting patches I'm not complaining :)
oh, another funny thing I noticed - if you esc out of the shiny GNOME 3 dialog without entering a passphrase, you get an old-skool GTK+ dialog that asks you the same thing. (and works).
