the pdf that displays differently

I am using evince 2.32.0 with poppler/cairo 0.16.4

I have a pdf figure included in a latex document. the oringal PDF figure renders identically in evince and acroread.

when i include this pdf figure in to my latex document i get a rotation difference between evince and acroread. (old evince 0.6.0, with poppler 0.5.4 agrees with acroread)

i can attach the latex file, and orginal pdf if needed.

This is a bug in poppler cairo backend, I've just forwarded it to freedesktop bugzilla:

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=40596

Thanks for reporting.

maybe evince should switch to a different backend. poppler cairo seems to have endless rendering bugs that no one is interested to fix. this gives the impression that evince is a poor pdf viewer.
