Description Paul Lange 2011-08-29 01:57:26 UTC
I tried to use pitivi to arrange some HD avchd movies but encountered a lot of problems. There filed on redhat bugtracker.

First in the timeline the thumbnails aren't created: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=733961

When I try to render the project I get this:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=733962

And sometimespitivi simply crashes:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=733963

If you need any more information I'll try to get it!

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

Basically: AVCHD/MPEG-TS is broken in GStreamer at the moment. See also https://bugs.launchpad.net/pitivi/+bug/327872 and bug 550634.
