Description:
I was running X in level 3 (eg startx) and each time the screensaver starts I crash my whole system. Following a reboot I got a panel crash. I have an athelon 950 on an asus A7v motherboard with diamond firegl 1000pro vid card.

Please try the latest gnome-libs and gnome-core packages available
from http://download.gnome.org/

These have fixes for many crashes and other bugs in both packages.
