GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 655329
"Delete Transaction" doesn't
Last modified: 2018-06-29 23:00:06 UTC
Since updating to 2.4.6 I have been unable to delete transactions. Both the "delete" key in the menu bar, and the "delete transaction" option in the right-click menu do nothing.
This could be bug 473315 - https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=473315
I guess technically it could be, even if from the point of view of an ignorant user it is not intuitively so. I view it as an ignorant user. I try to delete a transaction, and nothing visible happens - *NOTHING WHATSOEVER*. There is no menu, no warning, the program simply doesn't react. That doesn't *seem* to link with the bug mentioned, but I'm not saying it doesn't actually do so.
Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 473315 ***
Colin, Our reports seem to have had the desired effect. The bug 473315 has been reviewed by a GnuCash developer and had its Status bumped to NEW and Severity to MAJOR.
Reassign version to 2.4.x so that individual 2.4 versions can be retired.
