I'm following the git/master.  Today's build dies in configure:

checking for GNOME_DESKTOP... configure: error: Package requirements (gdk-pixbuf-2.0 >= 2.21.3 gtk+-3.0 >= 3.0 glib-2.0 >= 2.19.1 gio-2.0 >= 2.19.1 gsettings-desktop-schemas >= 0.1.4 xrandr xext >= XEXT_REQUIRED) were not met:

Requested 'xext >= XEXT_REQUIRED' but version of Xext is 1.3.0

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables GNOME_DESKTOP_CFLAGS
and GNOME_DESKTOP_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.

I flamed the directory and re-cloned.   I get the same error.
