Description rone 2011-06-28 21:21:42 UTC
Please see these(http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/14330) bug report and debug logs for more information. I can provide other info if requested.
Comment 1 rone 2011-06-30 19:02:53 UTC
Anyone, anything?
Comment 2 Matthias Clasen 2011-09-05 12:49:40 UTC
Please provide a simple test case.
Comment 3 Carlos Lopez 2011-11-29 16:43:03 UTC
It's pretty random.. you receive a message, and sometimes, just sometimes, you get the 'segmentation fault'. Hope to investigate further to give you a proper log.

Regards.

This doesn't happen in gnome3, just when using unity.
Comment 6 André Klapper 2012-04-04 10:39:32 UTC
Mass-fixing incorrect Default Assignee and QA contact scheme for libnotify so interested people can follow its development. (See 606365#c1 for ref.)
Comment 7 André Klapper 2020-11-26 15:30:58 UTC
bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all
older bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen
updates for a while.

If you still use libnotify and if you still see this bug / want this feature in a recent and currently supported version, then please feel free to report it at
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libnotify/-/issues/
by following the guidelines at
https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines

Thank you for creating this report and we are sorry it could not be implemented
so far (volunteer workforce and time is limited).
