GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 653524
"Pause" key as shortcut does not work any more
Last modified: 2011-07-01 12:41:04 UTC
I use the "Pause" key to lock my screen for many years. Since I've installed Gnome 3.0, it does not work any more. Setting this key as the shortcut key in gnome-control-center -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts -> System -> Lock screen does work. But when I press this key, nothing happens. If I set another key as shortcut, the screen is locked when I use the shortcut. So the problem is definitely from recognizing the key, not from executing the lock screen. Unfortunately I don't know which program is receiving this key, so if its not gnome-session please apologize my wrong product selection and set the correct product. If you accidentally know where I can find information on this global key processing, I'd be happy to read more about it. Thanks.
