Epiphany crashes when starting after Location box removed from toolbar
Last modified: 2011-06-30 02:15:44 UTC
Removing the Location box from the tool bar causes a segfault when the application is run. 1. Do one of: 1a. Edit ~/.gnome2/epiphany/epiphany-toolbars-3.xml and remove '<toolitem name="Location"/>' from the file . 1b. Run epiphany. Edit tool bar and remove the location box. Close epiphany. 2. Run epiphany and it segfaults. 3. Undo the change either in the file or via the GUI. 4. Run epiphany successfully. It is known to happen on these OS and Epiphany versions Debian 6.0/Squeeze : 2.30.6-1 Ubuntu 10.04 : 2.30.2-1ubuntu1.1 Ubuntu 10.10 : 2.30.2-1ubuntu7 Stack traces and other debugging info can be found on the Ubuntu bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/epiphany-browser/+bug/798336
This should be fixed in master now, commit 61b4a15531501833926b33a77f0416efc772a897.
