GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 652826
IMAP+ keeps asking password if server is unavailable
Last modified: 2013-08-28 14:13:22 UTC
Moving this from a downstream bug report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=711080 Evolution prompts to enter the password, although the server is unavailable. "Unable to authenticate to IMAP server. Server unavailable. 15 Please enter the IMAP password for <account> on host <host>" It is IMAP+. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Evolution 3.0.1 Actual results: Connection to server fails, evolution tries to reconnect every x minutes. Expected results: Connection to server fails, evolution prompts for password every time you click 'ok' and the connection is not re-established.
Closing as OBSOLETE since the new authentication API in 3.6 should have addressed this.
