Description Richard Hughes 2011-06-11 06:56:34 UTC
libedid needs bootstrapping as a project. When it's alive, remove the custom edid code in plugins/color/gcm-edid.c and use that instead.

p.s. Can I have a color component for g-s-d please. Thanks.

If this takes too long you can also file a ticket against bugzilla.gnome.org here with more info (main developer, different default virtual assignee and QA contact wanted for user-watching settings?)

1) This isn't the right place to ask, and never was (hidden inside a bug that I already knew the content of thus completely ignored?)
2) You could have asked me at any point in the week
3) I just did it
4) And now you can do it yourself, as I've added you as a developer for g-s-d and g-c-c

Just saying. And has nothing to do with libedid either.

Is this going to happen or shall we close it?

Not sure. At the moment it looks like weston is just going to do something like the g-s-d plugin, i.e. decode just the bits it needs. I'd say close.

Fair enough, closed.
