Description Brad Rubenstein 2011-06-01 01:10:40 UTC
In the mouse settings section of gnome-control-center:

The mouse control checkbox labeled "Disable touchpad while typing", when checked, does not disable the touchpad while typing.

I expected it to launch syndaemon, but it doesn't seem to. I don't see any output errors in $HOME/.xsession-errors when checking this box.

When I launch syndaemon by hand, the disabling function operates as expected.

I am running a stock Fedora 15 system on an ASUS EEE PC 1201N (with no xorg.conf file):
gnome-session-3.0.1-2.fc15.i686
xorg-x11-drv-synaptics-1.4.0.901-1.fc15.i686
control-center-3.0.1.1-5.fc15.i686

I'm not sure what other diagnostic info to provide, please advise.
